I worked on this animation every night after school for about 3 or 4 months. I can't explain why, but I felt an URGE to make it. Looking back, I can see how much I was expressing what I was going through. Red represents authenticity and the care-free self while Black represents time and the insecure self. In the end, Red sacrifices a part of itself and Black withers away, but on the other side of the horizon they've joined into one being. In total, this animation is composed of 866 individual drawings (no copy and pasting). The music was performed by my dad and mixed by me. I dedicated the film to my mom, who at the time had been in her home country on a journey of healing.
